European Attitudes Towards Gun Control

European International students discuss the cultural and legal relationship between civilians and firearms in their home countries

The podcast above is aimed at providing a broad window into the European approach to gun control. Students, aged 19 to 23, from the Netherlands, Spain and the UK discuss their views and experiences of gun use and control, honestly recounting their cultural relationships with firearms, ranging from Julia, who has never seen a gun in her native Holland, to Pedro, a Spanish engineer and gun owner. It is the second in a three part series /truth is running to assess, uncover and explain the true story behind America’s polarising gun control debate.
